The sense of Proprioception

“hypersensitive” -Chew on everything -Hide in tight spots -Love heavy blankets -Play rough -Crash into things on purpose -Always try to jump on the couch or bed -Be described as very physical or “wild” -Over-step personal boundaries -Hold onto writing utensils tightly or awkward pencil grips. - higher tolerance to scrapes, bruises or wounds as most of the time are unaware of it. On the opposite spectrum is someone who “hypo -sensitive” -appears to be withdrawn, timid - opts out of physical activities - prefers to do more of passive activities such as reading, colouring. - low physical pain threshold, since the effects of any contact to skin magnifies.
